Brand-safe fashion retargeting

Fair-trade fashion retailer PeopleTree turned to Merchenta to launch a range of branded, display ad campaigns to drive incremental online sales using a combination of pre-targeting, geo-targeting and retargeting strategies.

Merchenta’s real-time brand safety screening was employed to screen each potential ad placement in milliseconds before placing an ad on-screen. This ensures that ads are only run alongside appropriate content on well-known, reputable publisher websites.

Within just 3 weeks of launch, the IntelliAd campaigns delivered incremental sales worth an extra 6% of revenue by focussing upon consumer engagement optimisation.

Merchenta’s campaigns encouraged over 32% of non-converting consumers to return to the site within a day of visiting. Those returning were 80% more likely to purchase than other visitors. These sales were completed at a significantly higher order value than general site activity, thanks to Merchenta’s consumer scoring algorithms.
