US Retail eCommerce continues to grow in Q3 2010

Posted by Merchenta on November 4, 2010

Despite ongoing federal economic woes, the US eCommerce market continued to grow – up a healthy 9% year-on-year in the third-quarter, according to comScore.

One of the key takeaways of the study is the growing concentration of expednsiture with US online retailers. The top 25 online retailers accounted for 70% of online ecommerce spend – up over 5% since last year. That’s an enormous challenge for other online retailers – and further evidence that working to improve cross-channel conversion rates delivers ongoing sales success.
